Thispersonal data protection policy of Hotel Madison is an appendix to the GTC ("General Terms and Conditions") and therefore has contractual value. In the event of any contradiction between the GTC and this policy, the GTC will take precedence, which the user of our sites acknowledges and accepts.

Article 1. What is the purpose of the Personal Data Protection Policy?
The purpose of this Personal Data Protection Policy is to inform the User of the manner in which the Hotel Madison manages the personal data of users of its websites, whether or not they are customers (hereinafter "Users").

Article 4. Who has access to the User's personal data?
The only recipients of Users' personal data are :
- the relevant departments and employees of the Hotel Madison and the Biografy group (in particular: IT, sales/marketing and operational departments) who are bound by specific data protection obligations;
- companies assisting Madison in the operation and/or management of the sites;
- Our hotels' subcontractors.
These structures only receive the personal information strictly necessary to make a reservation and to call back clients.
The processing of personal data by these structures is carried out under conditions that comply with applicable legislation and regulations.
Article 5. What are the rights of the Users concerning the collected personal data?
The User has access to the rights detailed in Chapter III of the GDPR, including the following rights:
- Right of access to personal data collected on the Website
- Right to modify/rectify them,
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"), unless there is a legal reason for us to keep it,
- Right to restrict processing, i.e. the right to ask us in certain cases to suspend the processing of personal data,
- Right to data portability, i.e. the right to request a copy of one's personal data in a common format (e.g. a .csv file),
- Right to object to the processing of personal data,
- Individual decision and profiling rights, i.e. the right to ask us to be transparent about any profiling we do or any automated decisions,
All these rights apply to data processing carried out via the Hôtel Madison website and requesting personal information (registration forms, contact requests, booking confirmations, etc.). The User also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale Informatique et Libertés (CNIL), the supervisory authority for data protection issues in France(www.cnil.fr).

Users' personal data is stored in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Article 7. How are personal data protected?
Hotel Madison is very vigilant about the security of personal data and takes all reasonable precautions to prevent any unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of personal data.
Personal data collected is stored by Hotel Madison or its service providers, and is protected by physical and electronic access controls, firewall technologies and other reasonable security measures.
Such measures cannot, however, prevent all risks of loss, access, misuse or alteration of the personal information collected. Where required by law, Hotel Madison will notify the User of any loss, access, misuse or alteration of his or her personal data, so that the User may take the appropriate steps to enforce his or her rights. The Hotel Madison will notify the User by electronic or postal means or by telephone, if authorized by law.
The User is requested not to transmit payment information or sensitive information by e-mail or in sections not intended for this purpose (for example, sending a credit card number by e-mail).
The User is also informed that he/she always has the possibility of choosing the personal data he/she wishes to provide.
Nevertheless, his decision not to transmit certain data could alter his experience of the services. For example, we cannot make anonymous reservations and, if we are not authorized to disclose your personal data to the hotels in our group, we may find ourselves unable to provide certain reservation or other services.
Similarly, if the User does not authorize us to disclose his/her personal data to third parties, such as Hotel Madison 's subcontractors (transfer service, concierge service, ...), we may not be able to provide the full range of possible services or the provision of such services may be delayed. We will endeavor to respond to your request as soon as possible.
